Educating and engaging students on climate change, carbon neutrality, and energy conservation.

The University of California is committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2025.

Our mission is to promote climate action and raise awareness of UC San Diego’s carbon neutrality efforts through peer education and programming with a focus on energy solutions.

Together, we can achieve carbon neutrality and protect our communities from the impacts of climate change.

Our team is excited to help you learn about carbon neutrality, UC San Diego’s climate action efforts, and how you can help solve the climate crisis! We provide 10-15 min presentations to give a quick overview and energy saving tips. We also provide 45-60 min workshops for those wanting to dive deeper and think critically about carbon neutrality.

Don’t have time for a presentation or workshop? No problem! Take our online self-guided training you can do on your own time.

Ready to make a difference?

Collectively, our individual actions have a tremendous impact on the climate system. If we take the following steps, we can make a global difference!

1. Understand what’s going on.

2. Discover your impact.

3. Make a change.

4. Inspire others.

“We are the University of California, and there is no reason that UC can't lead the world in this quest, as it has in so many others.”

— UC President Janet Napolitano
